Helpline Support Team

New Homes Mortgage Helpline was founded in 1990 and since then has developed strong relationships within the new homes industry to become the UK's leading new homes mortgage specialist.

As a result of increasing business levels, we are expanding our Helpline operation and need highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our team making and taking telephone calls from potential new mortgage customers as they look to buy a new home from our housebuilder clients.

As you will be the frontline for inbound calls on our Helpline, your voice will be the first voice our new customers hear when they get in touch. As such, you will have first rate customer service and communication skills and you will pride yourself on making the best possible positive first impressions. You will be responsible for the introductory stages of the customers relationship with us as we help them toward buying their new home and arranging their mortgage for them. Their experience with us starts with you.

Knowledge of the house buying process, the newbuild industry or the mortgage field is helpful but not essential. Critical is extensive customer service experience - but not necessarily telephone based.

The role is Friday through to Monday based - including Saturday & Sunday - though we operate a system of flexible working hours and days over this period. New Homes Mortgage Helpline was founded in 1990 and since then has developed strong relationships within the new homes industry to become the UK's leading new homes mortgage specialist.

Now known as The New Homes Group, we are proud of the enviable reputation established amongst major national housebuilders including Bellway, Linden, Redrow, Barratt, Miller, Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon, Bloor and Bovis.

Arranging over 3,000 new mortgages each year for over a decade has produced a substantial existing customer base. Independent Mortgage Helpline – also part of The New Homes Group - is looking for high performing, enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Colchester to provide quality mortgage and protection sales and advice to our existing customer base and to our Part Exchange property buyers.

For 2012/13 we have over 8,000 pre-scheduled, pre-qualified, pre-arranged remortgage reviews due and we anticipate over 3,000 resales through our Part Exchange Department. So with well over 5,000 known mortgage and protection sales opportunities each year, this is fantastic proposition and an enormous career earnings opportunity for those candidates capable of delivery the level of results we expect!

This is a telephone based role so you will have an articulate and engaging telephone manner along with a proven track record of at least 2 years mortgage and protection sales. Whole of market experience is important but not essential providing the candidate possesses the high levels of skills and determined attitude necessary to succeed. Full CEMAP is of course essential.

With dedicated pre and post sales administration support, the role enables the right candidate to focus entirely on writing new business income and as such the earning opportunity is second to none.

Sales Progressor

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will need to be able to build on client relationships, communicate with estate agents, customers, and clients and at the same time provide an integral support role to both your dedicated team and the company.

Responsible for the successful exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion of all properties purchased by way of a Part Exchange or an Assisted Sale transaction. This vacancy will provide support to all teams and assist on holiday/sickness cover and will not be dedicated to any one team.

Experience in either estate agency or new homes preferred but not essential together with excellent all round communication skills. You will need to be IT literate, have your own transport and be dedicated to provide high levels of customer service.
